The Outback Air Race Inc. is a registered incorporated association under the Western Australian Associations ncorporation Act of 1987. Registration was granted on 26th November 1998.
Membership of the Association is open to all participants from the 1996, 1998 and 2000 Outback Air Races and ll participants of any future event held by the Association. Honorary membership shall be awarded to-
a.an entrant who has paid the entry fee for the
next event with full membership awarded on completion of
the vent provided they participated; and
b.officials who do not pay an entry fee, until the
completion of the event in which they officiate, after
which they may join as a member.
The objects of the association are-
a.To organize and conduct aviation events which
raise money for a nominated charity or charities or
worthwhile haritable projects
b.To adopt and abide by the "Voluntary Code of
Practice of Public Fundraising"
c.To pass on at least 85cents in each and every
dollar raised by the participants to a nominated charity,
or charities or worthwhile charitable projects.
The property and income of the Association shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objects of the ssociation and no part of that property or income may be paid or otherwise distributed, directly or indirectly, to members, except in good faith in the promotion of those objects.
The nominated charity is The Royal Flying Doctor Service WA Section.
